Caribbean Windsurfing Holiday
Hi all;
Any suggestions for a Caribbean destination for a windsurfing holiday. About the beginning of March.
Thanks.

I was in Cancun beginning of march this year. There were white caps on the water for an entire week day and night. Only saw a few rigs and kites on the water, but the place has tons of potential. Just get away from the big hotels and the beach had tons of room. Cheap all inclusive deals that time of year too!

cabarete
We went to Cabarete this past January. We stayed with friends and rented our gear through Villa Taina. It was very reasonable. All new JP, F2, and Ezzy gear. Villa Taina also has accomodations so you may be able to do an all inclusive type thing. It's right in the heart of Cabarete so you're close to all the action. Wicked night life too if that's your thing I wouldn't say it's cheap though. There are deals if you look for them.
As for the windsurfing, it was typically bigger gear (103 litre/5.8-6.3). Great waves, white sand beach and warm water. It does get progressively windier towards the summer months but I would think that Feb/Mar would be pretty similar to what we had in. You can check my sailing log from Jan 08 to see what it was like.
Feel free to PM us if you have any questions.
Cheers.

Windsurfing Holdiay
Well I've been threatening going and sailing for a week in the warm waters. Well 2010 is the year. I'm gonna go for 1 maybe 2 weeks. Could get a bigger place and save some $$$ by going together if you're interested in that.
PM me if your serious and interested in that idea. I'm thinking late Feb early March.
