That is a very scary thought. We really have no rights in these sorts of cases. I feel bad for the grumpy old guys in the article.

good article, the 5 comments below it i think tell the story behind the story. Looks like a case of overcrowding a good spot. I think in general residents like seeing kites in the air/sails on the water, but it looks like overcrowding shut them down. Columbia beach is a really crappy place to sail, spread the news.

This is why I suggested some of you become involved in the Island View Beach Park discussion of changes in the wind for this winter. I am not fortunate enough to sail there, but it would be a shame to see it jeopardized.
