Love that Jl!!!! The driver is great - funny that she hugged the van before the guys when she came into the studio at the end. And if you watch Part 1 you'll see she was saying she could beat the Top Gear guy's time when he drove a Jaguar even in a van. She'd make a great kiter or windsurfer I think. That drive reminded me so much of my epic trip down from Mt St Helens in the Sprinter coming back from the Gorge the first time. I kept up with the sports bike club's vanguard, who were scraping the leather off their knees - and doing double takes when they saw the Sprinter in their mirrors coming out of the turns. One of those once-only things, nothing still in the cupboards at the end and did two normal years of brake wear in 15 minutes. It was a lot of fun to see what the van could really do :!:

You should see what she could do when she was driving the ring taxi. I got to do few laps of the ring (as a passenger) in a fully race prepped BMW 318ti (with a guy who attends all the open track days at the ring behind the wheel) and got to watch her pass us like we were standing still several times.

It was Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 from one of the airport rental companies .. with the signed waiver stated I cant go off-road :) .. but i always have a hard time to read small font .. the good tip is to lower tire pressure when on the sand :)

Good one, so the 4X4 option was for that tough paved parking lot at the beach....

Love the 4x4 but the VW's are a nightmare for maintenance. And that little dirt road patch they put the van through....my honda civic couldda handled THAT  I do love my AWD for that tho  and the interior space/dutch rear doors, the only reasons I still have the bucket of US bolts
