Lost lime green surf board: reward!

Post by Fluffy »

Hi , I was kitingsurfing of Gordon's beach may 20th (about 10 km west of Sooke BC)at aproximately 2 pm I got separated from my board. I was just inside the commercial crab pots. The board is lime green, it's called a caution trespass 5' 5". It has white apple stickers on it and has my email address back by the Finns. It is a clean deck no straps. I would be most appreciative if is found! Please contact me (Deb London) at either or 778 425 2550. Beer, wine, chocolate, $100.00 I love my surf board and would be very, very happy if it came back to me.

Fluffy,
I suspect this is not that helpful, but I did search for your board from Gordo’s to Race Rocks during the downwinder (with no luck). Maybe on a run up to Sheringham Point someone could take a look along the shore (especially checking that big kelp bed off Muir Creek). You might also try posting on Craig’s list in case someone has picked it up.

The last 2 boards lost at Gordons ended up on the washington side. It is out there floating around or on a beach ... I figure someone will call, but it might take some time. Fluffy: if you want to borrow a sup and explore the otter point and sheringham shoreline, happy to loan.

Thanks Kayacdoc! Wow we have a wonderful group of folks who kite and sail together. I was hoping one of the "drift sure" boats might have spotted it on the US side lol. I'm grasping at straws I know. Juandesooka thanks for the offer of the SUP! I might need rescuing myself if I tried that. I keep hoping the old girl will turn up soon. I feel so lost without her whimper, whimper. Damn she was a nice board! I have cruised Muir creek end and no sightings yet. It's a pretty distinct board so ........
