I've only sailed at Joseph Whidbey State Park but there are many places to sail on the Island. The waves there are really nice but I've heard Useless Bay and Ebey's Landing can also be great.

Sorry I was just trying to say that for those around Vancouver Whidbey is a great place to practice wave sailing and get ready for the Oregon coast. We don't have that many options here.

The Baron au Rouge and I are tentatively penciled in to head down on the 16th of June until at least after Canada Day.

Getting stoked.

My holiday time is booked to line up with a June 21 departure through to Canada Day. Might pop into HR for a few hours on the way down.

Edit: Getting stoked also...if nothing else for the chance to see those nipples of BWD's......Meeeeooow!

Skipping the comp bru!?!?

Don't bring those doldrums with you! Actually don't mind if you do, so long as you leave the swell.

Small window means no comp this year for me. Besides, I'd rather try to head down when the contingent of Island kids is together. Wish I could be down for both times!
