Light wind and few entries= no race
Light wind and few entries= no race
With very few entries, and ultra light forecast, the race committee has made a difficult decision to not run the event.
Our 9 volunteers have learned a lot, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
Out next major race is scheduled for Sept 18th and 19th at Nitinaht as an end of season race. There will be a freestyle competition as well.
The RVYC will be continue to grow kite racing in Victoria.

A bunch of us racing sorts from Vancouver are really glad you are putting this event together again. We've been looking forward to it and booking the time off. And although I can't speak for everyone, I'm pretty sure no one will mind pitching in a few dollars for the entry fee if that helps make it happen, even if some of the newbie/ non race board kiters are unsure of racing and don't want to spend to try it out. Don't worry if it's not the big event you planned it to be. If you can just set out some marks and get us a start and finish, we will be happy to be there and meet the Victoria kiters and racers.
