Jordan River Rules
Interesting weekend where I totally did nothing wrong and enjoyed the 30 knot conditions in the early early morning, but for some dude it was a nightmare watching kiters enjoy his beach and parking lot.
1.) Never run your lines out in the parking lot, space is limited and windsurfers may do burn outs on your lines. possibly run you over
2.) Don't you dare report a high wind speed gust that was experienced at a different time in a different location than any other wind surfer.
3.) If you try to catch a wave near a wind surfer you may get knocked out on the beach.
4.) Don't get anywhere close to a windsurfer even if its 20ft above them... you'll get knocked out on the beach
5.) When the tide is high don't even think about kite boarding there!
Sorry people, but I've done nothing but defend myself and have been scorned now for the next time I'm at the beach... thanks winddude but please come talk to me in person next time I'm doing something wrong that you lose sleep over.

If you think grumpy windsurfers are hard to get along with, you should see how much fun it is when there's actually surf. That crew brings a whole 'nother dynamic into the mix.

I'm a windsurfer but never done a burn-out in a parking lot - Do lines make it easier to do them or something "
2.) Don't you dare report a high wind speed gust that was experienced at a different time in a different location than any other wind surfer.
Oh no "any other windsurfer" - so does this mean you're a windsurfer too? How could this work - board - check; universal - that's kind of a kiter's body/bar, so OK - check; mast - leading edge/bladder, check; sail - all that other 9m of fabric, check! Hmmm, 2 wind and fabric powered sports doing the same thing on a board and water, cool!
3.) If you try to catch a wave near a wind surfer you may get knocked out on the beach.
That's because us damn pole-dancers catch the little ones way too close in to the beach
4.) Don't get anywhere close to a windsurfer even if its 20ft above them... you'll get knocked out on the beach
remembering that kiter in Maui who beach-launched over a bunch of people, then rocks, then trees ... yep - us pole dancers spend way too much time on the beach - not a great idea to jump us then.
5.) When the tide is high don't even think about kite boarding there!
And this is what really shows my sad sense of humour:
"The tide is high but I'm holding on
I'm gonna be your number one
I'm not the kind of girl who gives up just like that
Oh, no
It's not the things you do that tease and wound me bad
But it's the way you do the things you do to me"
Just some fun, I actually enjoy sharing water-space with good kiters! Don't let one attitude mess any part of your days, either of you!

We windsurf - life must be good!
