AWT Quatro Desert Showdown

Post by Sandy Beach »

Mid-summer and we're definately not in a wind deprived time, but had to add this one.

<a href="/http://vimeo.com/71824112" target="_blank">AWT Quatro Desert Showdown</a>

For those kiteboarders getting more dialed it at kiting waves, it's time to take it to the next level and learn this amazing hardcore sport of wave windsurfing. It's really good to challenge yourself and pick up a new extreme sport :) It may take more than a decade to really get it though.

Wow, Spectacular to watch!
Life is all about balance, and a dose of healthy wind addiction

I think only Robbie Naish can do both this well. http://vimeo.com/28814223
However he uses straps on everything but the SUP. :?

Foilboarding does indeed look like fun. Nice to see someone doing some turns in little waves, rather than just mowing the lawn. This goes on the list for me for future "must do".

Grant M. was at the lake ripping it up on his foil last week. You don't see that there very much.
