I think I windsurfed there once back when I was learning to waterstart. Gusty. Would probably be good on modern big floaty gear. In summer you would only need boardies though! Probably better windsurfing than kiting unless you can find a good launch. It's pretty shallow over big areasight be able to drift launch.

Portage inlet would seem interesting but where would you launch from? Portage/Grange Rd?

Id like to try launching off one of the bigger ferries that go to the mainland and then shred the wake the whole way! It would be sick!
