Hi KUS,

I left half my gear in a friends garage in San Jose for that coast trip ;-)

Too bad we didn't have much swell those days, but at least there was wind, so fun sailing either way.

By the way, I just blogged about the last 2 contests I did; AWT Pistol River and the Rio Vista Grand Slam. They were not my best results, but a lot of fun.

For those who don't know both events have Amateur Fleets, and the Rio Vista one has a freeride category for the racing; max 7.5m sail, no cams, no slalom boards, single back footstrap (or double on the inside positions). We were missing some Canadian representation in both the freeride and kids category down there ;-)

5th place at the PWA Fuerteventura World Cup

I'm really stoked to share with you guys that I finished the 2016 PWA World Tour ranked 5th! That's right, Canada ranked 5th on the windsurfing world tour ;-)
