Seabin - automated harbour cleanup

Post by colin »

Does anyone have influence at a marina, yacht club, or harbour authority? These should be installed in problem areas.

interesting....and another great start....can't help but wonder can it possibly be enough thinking about the floating mass of mid ocean plastic.....and what do we do with the stuff collected? Also would it not also collect leaves and such that pose no environmental risk? The remediation costs are staggering.

The sooner the human race causes it's own demise, the better for the rest of the species and mother earth  unless we keep coming up with a kazillion of this kind of an idea....while slowing/stopping the runaway train of pollution

Btw is the filter unit made of recycled plastic :?: and can it be solar passively powered instead of just plugging it into an already exhausted power system? :D I managed to recycle some older sails at a garage sale (free) but keep thinking of my own consumption. At least all my vehicles are severely recycled too :)
Wish less, sail more!!
