Wing Rescue - Thank you!!!

Post by wjlavery »

Thank you to Peter (Pete?) for rescuing my brand new, first time out, KT Wing tonight! I bailed out in the swells and the leash popped off my wrist and the wing was quickly gone. I started paddling after it and there was no way I'd catch it. Peter came to my rescue and took off down wind and caught it after a couple of hundred metres and wrestled it down. He waited patiently while I paddled to him. Another wing foiler came and gave me a tow, which helped immensely! I didn't catch his name - but he saved me a lot of paddling. Thanks to you both for your help! The way that wing was moving, it would have been on San Juan Island in no time.
