Victoria north on inland highway past Nanaimo, Second parksville exit to old Island highway. North through town, past french creek marina over small bridge. First right onto ColumbiaBeach road. Down to water, then right. Beach access three houses up. Parking lot will be full tomorrow, bring your smallest gear!

Burritos ? probably nowhere. Try Timbos (take the first parksville exit to hit the main drag), Smitty's maybe, McDinkies ? Lefties looks okay beside Thrifty grocery - not sure what time they all open.

Sorry I don't eat out in this town ...

North nanaimo has Delicados - amazing Mexican, and a good Java shop next door. R on Aulds road off the highway (on the way North) - in the same area as Home depot.

& Ginas on the way home ... Love that Chipotle Chicken !!Gina's Restaurant, Nanaimo47 Skinner Street, Nanaimo, BC
Ph: (250) 753-5411
You can find Gina's Restaurant just south of Swy-a-lana Lagoon on Skinner Street; it's behind Front Street and the courthouses, overlooking the Island Highway south of Comox Rd (Bowen Rd South).
Thermals are good.

did a little field research today to add to the CB info database: the French Creek Bakery (the pink building on the west side only 1/2 a K south of CB road) has hot soup and yummy fresh strudels for the post session binge!
