Snowkiting

Post by Simon »

I'm new in bc, I'm looking for a place to go snowkiting this winter. I live on the mainland in Abbotsford, any suggestions?

Thanks

Fort St. John:
Huge wheat fields with drifted snow, tons of wind, lots of snow, almost never melts. Dunno if anyone snow kites there, although they do at Moberly Lake to the southwest. Not an option from the Fraser Valley, though.

Closer to here, has anyone ever tried the places close to Merritt on the Coquihala where there are highway signs warnings about high wind? seems to me there were some big open but sloping spots there, its usually snowy.
