How and where to start?

Post by ragsx »

Can someone tell me where the best place in Vancouver is to go for an information session about kiteboarding? I'd like to know about the equipment, risks, lessons, places and everything to start this sport with my right foot. i know there are some books/magazines but I'd rather know from word of mouth.

Thanks Folks! 8)

visit the beach (Crescent, Boundary Bay, Jericho) at the end of a windy day with a case of beer, watch for a while, then start talking to the best kiter and offer him/her a cold one in jolly exchange of suds for info 8) Windpeople love talking about their gear and sport :P
Wish less, sail more!!

Hey thank you guys! those links were very helpful specially the airtime link. I'll also wait for a windy day to go to Jericho beach, I hope a 12 pack of Kokane is good enough :D
