April Boardseeker - Online windsurfing magazine

Post by morewind »

Looks like a dry spell coming. Time for some no-wind, armchair visualization activity. Here's a link to the April Boardseeker magazine. Once again, the editors have put together some great content.

I really like the article on the editor learning the Flaka.

Some good instruction on low-wind Push tacks. Look for lots of Morewind dunks and swims this summer at Nitinat when I try to learn this one.

"can an old guy learn freestyle" - he is 30! :( :(

make sure you view the CapeTown video in the lifestyle section for some serious hate-throwing!

that online mag is the best deal ever.

Who's up for testing their ankles with me to learn Flakas this summer? Dunkinguy?Anyone? Looks surprisingly doable when you watch the crashes of that "ancient" 30 year old going for them. I tried some in the Gorge a couple of summers ago and found the sphincter pucker factor pretty high. However, I can push tack and heli, so I figure how hard can it really be :? ?

Great issue this month of Boardseeker. Inspiring! Nitinat suddenly looks appealing again for working on freestyle.
