I was out at Nitinaht in mid-April. Fred et al. put quite a bit of effort into cleaning up the mess left by winter storms. The campsites were littered with logs and the loop road was practically impassable. The picnic tables were rebuilt and moved back to roughly where they were supposed to be. Also, at one point the road into the campsite was washed out and had to be repaired. I bring TP and camp on the beach too, but I don't have a Bobcat!

Thanks MB, money/effort spent on that work might not be obvious, especially if someone wasn't there early season.

My dad and I were at the campsite last weekend and it looks great! Nothing has been damaged by storms, (yet) and the drive through the campsite is perfect. A couple of new logs on the beach but nothing a chainsaw wouldent fix. We took a truck load of garbage to the dump but otherwise it was great to be back on the beach!

Thanks for the report. You left out the most important information. Was it windy :?: :?: :?:

Not a breeze, but a beer on the beach was just the fix.
