just moved, wondering where the good kiting is

Post by matt_doesnt_know »

i just moved from squamish to nanaimo.. i started kiting late last summer and got more and more into it as this summer went by.. squamish was a great place to be, i could be on the water 20 min after work however im not sure where to go here on the island and i also dont have a vehicle which also makes it really hard.. i would be interested in hooking up with some others that know the area if at all possible.. hope to meet some new friends to kite with.. thanks

cheers

Hey Matt, this is Matt, a.k.a Mattdog. I am a kiter living in Parksville. There are only a couple of us in Nanaimo area so your arrival is awesome news. We've sussed out all the great spots. Give me a call at 951 2927.

Cheers, Matt

Time for one of these: http://www.japanoid.com/car.php?carNo=3 Welcome to the Island. Hey Matt ImageHow about posting a 'how to get there' thread to those up island winter spots? Last year I got tired of sitting @ myImage & missing all the action. Thankyou.
Thermals are good.
