Wednesday

Post by Guest »

I'm pretty new to the sport of windsurfing and would like to log as many hours on the water as possoble.. I see that Wednesday is suposed to blwo at Columbia beach, but it's a north westerly.. I was wondering if those conditions are sailable there and if not where the better choice would be to sail?

Pipers Lagoon is the NW choice on that side of the Island - I believe you would be offshore at Columbia - not a good situation.

Piper's is a little sketchy on NW - it's more offshore than at Columbia. My only NW day at CB was ok - sideshore really. There's a launch at the end of Oar rd. in Lantzville that's good on NW and safe but Columbia would be windier.
