recommendations for Xmas trip
The family may be able to get away for a week at Xmas. Looking for somewhere warm, including windsurfing gear rental, and kid friendly.
I have checked out Vela. Cheapest flights would be helpful. Don't want to spend a mint.
Any recommendations?
Thanks

Check into Varadero...
the all-inclusive aspect may not be all that appealing, but there are often great last minute deals there. Most of the resorts offer free windsurfing (not sure how the gear is). Maybe you can rent it too?? And, apparently there is a kiting scene there. December is supposed to be pretty good for wind, although I'm sure its hit and miss!

Cuba is nice, but the wind is fickle and light that time of year.Baja Mexico is great.Lots of places to stay. And lots of friendly locals. You can fly straight there, from Vancouver .Look on Baja Joe's websight.
