Thanks.

I've been waiting about 8 years for someone to figure this out. Wide has been a fad in most board sports. I'm glad to see that there is a trend to common sense again.
Its all about the adventure and stoke!

Check out the video of the K.surf in some light wind small to biggish waves at the bottom. Patrice certainly makes it work in light wind. I think all the other boards in these shots are barely slogging. Looks pretty agile for its 180 litres (mind you, the guy is a pro and could probably sail a door with the doorknob still in it and make it look agile).

starboards on the kona bandwagon now, will they kill the serenity i wonder.
as for SUP i think its good exercise and a fun diversion however there are hundreds of 12 foot boards out there for the taking, stashed under various patios and cottages. certainly not the optimum design for surfing but fine to get out on, meaning you dont need to drop $2000 on a board to try SUP. you just need to make a paddle w/a 7 foot shaft. On windless nitinat mornings its a hoot.
