Perfect orientation for SE winds. Maybe NW too? Not certain how well the wind blows there but I'll be checking it out. Wind stats for Cape Mudge aren't as windy as for Comox Airport though I'm not certain if they are comparable ...

:lol: I have sailed there.Great spot,but as far as jumping across.Ha.There is a path,and trees down the center. :shock: Beautiful spot,sand and open water on the outside,flat scenic on the inside.works on Northwest and south east. :lol:Cape Mudge reports are great for the south east reports,Northwest hummmmmmmmmm :o

rebbecca isn't as good as you'ld expect .. i fished around there many years and found the SE actually doesn't fill in there nearly as good as it does around mudge and campbell river .. i havn't seen it good enuff to windsurf on a NW, but maybe you could pull it off on a kite ... if you're going over there just to ride i'd say save your money from the ferries and just go to willow point in campbell river for the sow-easters ... better wind and huge freakin swell .. watch out tho lotsa current!!
