check out this sweet rig i built on the weekend, using the a bunch of old bic components i learned on back in '92. I actually sold this stuff years ago but it boomeranged back to me!
I got the basic idea from tweezer mark's rig. Its the top part of a 5.7, you just trim it so the boom can outhaul at a batten end. The boom is a chopped up old bent chinook, the mast is just a top half of an old 2-pc. I was able to file down the old bic base to fit perfectly. The boom/luff measurements are the same as a sailworks ripper 1.7.
