You love marking up everything with KC7777 Keith! I think I have finally gotten rid of the shadow on the Pirate sail.

I am sorry the stickers have been taking so long, my wife has been battling a brain tumor for 7 years. Things have been a bit rough for her in the last few months. She lost her battle with cancer last Sunday morning. I will get those stickers done, most of the work is already done.

I'm so sorry for you loss Joost. Take care.

The stickers are a very low priority and please don't even think about doing them.

Stickers are here !!!

Post by bwd »

Yes the BWD stickers are in 8) Thanks again to Joost for making them! They are high quality vinyl stickers and are blue/white/black and silver. I have had one on my van for a year now and it looks as good as the day I put it on.

They come in two sizes:
The larger BWD sticker is about 8" wide x 5" high and is great for cars or sails. The price for this size is $5.

The smaller BWD sticker is 4" wide x 2.5" high and is good for helmets, boards etc. Price for this size is $3.

We also have stickers with the phrase "Wind is good" in blue that is 7" wide x 1.5" high. Price is $1.50.

We originally had a list but that seems complicated now. The best way to get stickers is to get them when you see me. I'll bring them with me to the beach from now on. If you really need me to mail them to you then I can do that. Send me a PM or email: ... thanks!

For the people that have stickers already, here are some application instructions from Joost:

Big Wave Dave sticker install tips:
1: start with a cleaned smooth surface.
2: rub sticker with credit card on the application tape side, not the release paper side. use credit card like a squeegy, on 45 degree angle.
3: remove release paper from sticky side of sticker.
4: spray soapy water in the area you want the sticker and on the back of the sticker too. (a little dish soap with water works well)
5: position sticker where you want it.
6: squeegy soapy water out from sticker, again with credit card on 45 degree angle until air bubbles and soapy water is removed.
7: spray soapy water on application tape.
8: wait 30 to 45 seconds and peel application tape. don't pull away from applied surface, rather pull along it, back on the sticker, less chance off pulling the sticker off the surface this way.
