I went last weekend, and the Youbou route is the best if have seen it in years. it has been graded, the eastbound lane is better than the westbound (if you can drift over on the straighaways heading west, all the best-safety first of course), there are still a few troublesome areas, and it may have deteriorated with the continued rain, but fine for any vehicle.
