RV Park Sailing Access

Post by Wavos Rancheros »

Does anyone with good knowledge of vancouver island sail/kite spots, also have knowledge of nearby RV parks, or even better, RV parks that are within sailing/walking distance of a regular launch?

China creek campground was once upon a time quite a popular spot to sail from. Alot of the waterfront sites are monthly sites now but it might be worth a call.

Does Island View have any longer-term spaces for the winter? Might be worth a call to CRD. You could potentialy launch while still inside the door

This info would be great for a wiki section on rv access sailing/kiting for all seasons, for visitors and locals. There must be something along the east coast of the island, too?
