To glue or not to glue

Post by JayR »

So I have a new kite board (my 1st) and I'm about to screw the fins on. Do people lock tite them in place so you don't lose them? I'm looking to pack it up and take it to Maui in December (as long as the world doesn't end on 21 December)! My assumption is one would take the fins off to prevent damage in transport.

I've never loctited any fins in and never lost one. I would check them periodically though.
Safe riding,

I'd be very careful loctiting fins, it does an unbeleiveable job of dissolving some plastics (learned that one on some motorcycle parts)
