Shame? Heck no. You guys with your safe just-past-the-point-kick-out ought to be ashamed. You could still get at least one more hit on that wave, maybe even two, if you're willing to swim after your gear for 20 minutes and then walk for another 20 like me. I'm owning that hike

Ur bang on :!: ....I bail out early almost everytime after a couple of hits unless when I look over my shoulder I see a lake upwind...which isn't often if it's worth riding at all and down into sewers.....problem with me is.....I just can't walk back up :? :oops: you go dood :!: :twisted:

hey wheres the golden helmet! it should go to Maui with all the BC guys there.

Whoa :!: .. wait a minute... it's not that easy. You just can't "pass it on". :o

As I understand it, the current keeper has a responsibility to witness the act of indomitability, before it can be awarded to the next hero.

Given that BWD is allergic to Maui, I think we can make an exception here. By this DWD has volunteered to drag it to Maui.

It is my great pleasure to announce that the GH was passed on to Sir redbaron yesterday for his forward loops, being in the ice cold river after stepping off the plane from Maui and for looking great both on and off the water.

The Golden Helmet is here in Gold Beach!!!!! Yesterday was just a warm up day. Today is the day!!!!!!!
A couple of Americans added their inspirational stoke! So lets have fun out there and Get Radical.
