Nitinat road Conditions - Lake Cowichan or Port Alberni

Post by Don_C »

Heading to Nitinat on Monday. I'll be coming into Duke Point so could go via Lake Cowichan or Port Alberni. Anyone have a recent update as to which road is in better shape?

I would say Duncan-Youbou. PA seems ok until you have a bit of speed and hit a big pothole or roller-coaster bump in the road. I have had a flat on both roads this year as I drive to and from the lake.
