CKR Stormtrooper lines
Kiters gearing up to ride fall and winter heavy weather may want to consider a set of high-strength lines. I have a spool of Liros DC 500 Dyneema line, 2.05 mm diameter 500 daN test ( = 1,120 lbs-force ) and can make up custom line sets to your length and end-loop requirements.
Ozone use this line on the front lines of bars sold with their C4 kite, and I'd expect Best will have it on Lenten's new C-kite for mega-loopers. Size and strength-wise it's between standard kiteline around 1.7 mm diameter and bar leader line at 2.5 mm diameter. It's also been used by North and Naish as the single front line section on 'Y' configurations where the split to two front lines is about half-way to the kite.
If you want to be out when it's nasty and not worry about your lines, this is your Stormtrooper line.
