'05 North Rhino Testing

Post by Stammy »

Hey Folks At Home,

Just wanted to let you guys know that we've been testing our new line of North kites ('05 Rhinos) for a month now and here are the results:

Positives:
-5th line system makes relaunching a breeze
-5th line system will definately be good on the snow
-Very durable (may even rival Ocean Rodeo in this category)
-Excellent for teaching

Negatives:
-Very low aspect ratio/supposed to be North's high aspect kite (almost seems as though they have measured the kites wrong)
-Up-wind ability is poor (sits back in the window)
-Definately not a high performance kite as it claims to be

Whoa, North seems to run the gamut from year to year with its Rhino kite designs . What will they think of next? :P
