Anyone here kite on their sup? I haven't kited before but I have been windsurfing for years. I want to sup kite in 10kt or less wind days. Would I really need one of these specially designed kites or not?

it already has a name, Stand Up Kiting....SUKing. :D

I first tried this with my trainer kite, way harder than it looks, because you are on a floating platform, so you will tend to float under the kite ... meaning lines go slack and the kite crashes. It is actually a lot easier to kite on a regular kiteboard or even surfboard, because your body in the water is an anchor for kite to pull against, keeping lines tight.

Looking at that website, I couldn't tell if it was an april fool's joke or something....umm, 17m 2-line kite in 10kts, no depower, no modern safety systems, etc?? I think they must be joking, but sure isn't obvious.
