Battle from the start. In order to try Dannos new (to him) TC50 fuse, i had to take my 60 off, which i have never done in 2 years. A little log bashing and we got it off. Then the 50 wouldnt right, so about an hour of messing around in the rain, but we got it sorted eventfully. Wind came up, and I made the wrong call with the 3m, making life difficult. Anyways, If i cant get the 50 off tomorrow, might have to try it again monday! Thanks eithe way idefix.

Big turn out at the terminal today. It was surprisingly cold though, winter is back. Wind was squally, waves were choppy and there were lots of weeds. Big squall near then end brought some nice swell, so it wasn't all bad. Caught a few nice rides before it passed and the wind died, again.

Fun swell and good crew bla bla bla. The best part was pre-session watching Danno and Tuna do a quick fuse swap. They were like a well tuned F1 pit-crew, but where one of the guys catches on fire and no can see the flames so it looks like he is just dancing, so they all laugh. Just like that.

Jesse and I owned the place for most of the session. Where was everyone?? Some really nice swell for cruising down wind. Break water had the best swell; shoulder high, smooth,but slightly infested with massive sea lion pimps and their bitches (I'm no marine biologist, but I'm pretty sure I'm using correct scientific nomenclature). ULR is the greatest! Anyways, today hit 1000kms travelled so far this year!! Aiming for 8000+ this year. Ok, Arrived early after checking Willows which had 6kts. Saw an update of 10-12kts from GBV at RB so headed there. Arrived to 13-16kts and GBV was heading out and foiled immediately. Took the afternoon off to enjoy some Easterlies. Went to CP but too offshore at 1st boatramp, too direct onshore at 2nd boatramp so headed to Willows and wind direction was just right. Rigged up a mostly flat 6.0m as there was 10-14kts and it was looking so sweet!! Got out and the wind had lessened down to 8-10kts. Looked like some more out by Cattle Pt so headed that way. Decent wind and water looked pretty flat except further out by the golf course. Lots of reflected waves made for some fun slosh and the odd rogue shoulder high slide. New-to-me art pro 951 foil is nice! Low end is similar to the 899.

Gorgeous summery conditions silver seas! Morning session with Poper, Danno, Twiz, and DocMark was just wonderful. Warm, sunny, with nice steady winds. It was quite fun. Took a break and tried for a second sesh with my biggest wing. 2nd sesh Not as fun, winds were reduced and unpredictable. Still a good day regardless.

Arrived to windy looking bay on the outside. Went with the 3m. First reach outbound I was tailing Windoc who was boosting some nice air! Looked to be a good 6+ feet off the water. Turned out to be a great wavy session with some big GS groomed smooth slopes to slide around on. Fun! BigWaveDave and I presciently foretold of the impending wind shutdown and were happily back at the beach when it tanked, while a few were left to paddle in.

Pretty damn good I'd say. Arrived to sun, swell and wind which is always nice. The sun didn't last long but there was skate park conditions with steep smooth swell. First day on the 680 and it's really good and feels quite a bit smaller than the 780.

Arrived at 2:30pm to Ryan rigging up his 6.0m, said he was just out on his 8m but wind is picking up. It looked like 13-18kts so I rigged a fat 4.5m Sailworks Flyer and 1263cm2 foil. Well, I lasted 5 mins and decided to come in and flatten out the 4.5m as I was waaaay overpowered as it had picked up to 20-25kts. Lots more Winger arriving and getting out. After a brutal choppy/windy/freezing SUP foil out west, I was alerted to the westerly having filled in to RB. Grabbed my gear and decided to remount my straps to work on jumping again. Rusty but a few decent ones! Swell was super fun at RB. Lots of stoked and frozen faces. Pepe out doing Pepe things.
