Endless awesomeness on Canada Day! A bit bigger swell than I was comfortable with, but the crew convinced me to stick it out with Greg, Danno, Lancer, and the usual local elite riders. It was definitely a tough challenge for my developing skills, but I played off the stoke of the competent riders that I tried to copy. Occasionally successful, often struggling. Did a couple of sessions and thanked Canada for its greatness. So difficult to hit the road when the home front is so sweet. Regardless, forecast shows I'll have to travel mid-island for good wind. Cold post-ride bevy's tasted heavenly! Sadly, my second session didn't register on GPS.
