Arrived at 10, looked good so rigged the 5.2m Flyer but it had dropped a bit so schlogged out and back for 20 mins and came in and rigged the 6.0m Flyer. Boom!! Foiled for an hour and then saw a bunch of whale watching boats and then saw the whales. Maybe 6-8 Orcas which I got to watch for about an hour. Got to within 500 meters a few times. Then it picked up so came in for the 5.2m again just as Marky Mark and the Funky bunch came out. Foiled an 30 mins then it dropped a bit again and I was having trouble getting up on the foil so called it a day and had a quick chat with Rookie Ryan, who is not a rookie anymore. Pretty amazing foiling and watching whales. Amazing day even though the wind was fairly light at times.
BOBSON OUT!!
