After a bit of morning rain the wind settled in to light & sailable by 3:30pm & consistant white capping by 4:30pm. Vlad was the windsurf dummy with his big twin fin and 6.8 starting at 3pm who convinced me to rig a different sail (8.3m) for the first time this visit.
Overall sailing was good right up to sunset and was most stable after 6:30 - 7pm. Y
Had a lovely visit with SandyB and Rob after sailing with lots of chat about mutual freinds from C. Glazier to G. Mcnab & beyond. Ty for the Pistashios you two!!
Also thanks to George for making campsite space for me despite his 2 two days of work after one of his clients got cloud struck.
The race for the Wind Sport mind and mecca is on... be it Vanc Island or the Gorge. Looks like today will be a rocker in Ross Bay & Dallas & Willows.
