Kite Specific Surfboard Build Thread / Info

I'm shaping a kite specific surfboard right now, just getting the project going, and am trying to figure out what the best rail shape is going to be. I'm figuring harder rails through most of the board would help with upwind performance. Here's the design I've made for the board. Fairly flat rocker ...

-golf bags (golf bag rentals??) This!!!! Excellent idea Todd. I know a couple people who've had to buy them for a one off trip to Cuba or Mexico (I'll rent one for two weeks over Christmas) The full on equipment rentals I would see as being a headache and opening the door for too much liability (an...

Dr Murray (Murray Chiropractic on Chatterton by Quadra & the Highway) is pretty darn good for a lot of issues, though generally its a come in and crack your back or whatever every couple weeks. I don't know if he has any kite-specific knowledge, but he does quite a bit of work with athletes (ie ...

You should see what she could do when she was driving the ring taxi. I got to do few laps of the ring (as a passenger) in a fully race prepped BMW 318ti (with a guy who attends all the open track days at the ring behind the wheel) and got to watch her pass us like we were standing still several times.

It'd be worth going in and talking to them, they also have a pile of kites in their clearance room that are a 2+ years old that I believe should be cheap (they hadn't priced them when I was in there)
